MEX Finland member Nomet: Intelligence brought the competitors together

The aim of the Intelligent Manufacturing in Ecosystem (IME) project is to improve the productivity of the domestic manufacturing and mobile machinery industry with digital and new technology tools. In addition to increasing exports and growth targets, IME is also researching material and manufacturing technology, profitability management, and artificial intelligence.

Designing intelligent devices with intelligent components and intelligent methods. This need led to the launch of the nationwide IME project at the end of 2018. In the project, competing domestic industrial companies collaborate and share information with each other, which is not very common. However, the subject is exceptionally significant.
